CAEx Food & HoReCa: a new growth strategy
04.04.2026The international exhibition CAEx HoReCa | UzFPT has announced its rebranding and will henceforth operate under a new name — CAEx Food & HoReCa. Along with the updated brand identity, the event will also move to new dates: it will take place on February 4–6, 2027, at the CAEx Exhibition Centre in Tashkent.
The decision to rename the exhibition represents a strategic step reflecting both the project’s evolution and the dynamic growth of the both industries. In recent years, Uzbekistan’s food industry has demonstrated steady expansion, with increasing production capacity and strengthening export potential. Growing Hotel Investments together with Café and Restaurant investments in Tashkent and all regions of Uzbekistan has created a high demand to industrial HoReCa equipment and solutions.
The new name — CAEx Food & HoReCa — highlights the growing importance of the food market and its close integration with the hospitality sector. The organizers aim to create a unified professional platform that brings together food manufacturers, horeca equipment suppliers, with professionals of hotels, restaurants and cafés.
The rebranding also signals an intention to broaden international participation and strengthen cooperation with the global food and HoReCa industries. By consolidating the Food and HoReCa sectors under one brand, the exhibition will enhance synergy between producers, suppliers, importers, exporters and end users, while shaping a more comprehensive and structured business agenda.
“For us, maintaining a close connection with our professional audience is essential — understanding their priorities, their challenges, and how they perceive our project. That is why we made the decision to update both the concept and the brand of the exhibition. We believe this step will not only allow us to keep pace with market developments, but also create new growth opportunities for our exhibitors and visitors,” said Mehmet Dukkanci, Operations Director of the CAEx Exhibition Centre.
Today, Uzbekistan’s food and HoReCa markets are entering a phase of active expansion. Growing domestic consumption, increasing tourist inflow, and government support for the food industry and small businesses are creating favorable conditions for further industry scaling. In this context, CAEx Food & HoReCa is positioned to become a key meeting point for the region’s professional community.
CAEx Food & HoReCa 2027 will showcase a full spectrum of industry solutions — from food products to equipment for hotels and restaurants. The renewed brand reflects the project’s ambition to become one of the leading and most effective business platforms for the food and hospitality industries in Central Asia.
