How CAEx Mebel & Décor Contributes to the Development of Uzbekistan’s Furniture Market
04.04.2026The main focus of the discussion was how to structure CAEx Mebel & Décor so that it becomes an effective instrument for advancing Uzbekistan’s furniture industry.
The meeting was attended by CAEx Operating Director Mehmet Dükancı, CAEx Mebel & Décor Project Manager Shokhruh Uralboev, Head of Sales Davlat Artykov, as well as representatives of leading industry companies: Surat Yusupov (Shosh Mebel), Aziz Egamberdiev (Nanxing), Rustamjon Abdullaev (Honor), Rakhmatilla Toirjonov (Woodex) and Miraziz Mirvaliev (Ergo).
Dialogue with the Industry as the Foundation of a Strong Exhibition
The meeting was designed as an open dialogue. Participants discussed the key objectives that a modern industry exhibition should address:
● creating an effective B2B platform for contract negotiations and deal-making;
● expanding sales markets for Uzbek manufacturers;
● attracting international brands and advanced technologies;
● strengthening the export potential of locally produced furniture;
● building sustainable partnerships within the industry.
“We want Mebel & Décor to become a meeting point where Uzbek furniture manufacturers and international exhibitors can showcase their products to the markets of Uzbekistan and Central Asia. That is why we are open to close cooperation with industry representatives and ready to take their proposals into account when shaping the exhibition concept,” commented Mehmet Dükancı.
Shaping the Future of the Industry Together
During the meeting, participants emphasized the importance of close collaboration between the organizers and the business community. Only through the active involvement of manufacturers and suppliers can the exhibition fully respond to current market demands.
The organizers plan to continue a series of industry consultations to ensure that CAEx Mebel & Décor becomes a leading professional event for Uzbekistan’s furniture sector and a significant trade hub for the wider Central Asian region.
The exhibition is therefore positioned not as a one-time event, but as a long-term platform for trade development, strengthening national production, and integrating Uzbek furniture products into international markets.
